Amid busy schedules, careers, and schoolwork the last thing you want to do is waste hours and brain power studying how to calculate BRI or the Arenas provision when those topics WONT appear on the exam. I've provided resources that clearly outline which topics are more frequently tested and in what context.
Several factors contribute to exam failure: not studying the correct material, disorganized binders or open book resources, ineffective time management, and absence of a solid strategy. Over the last five testing sessions, I have developed strategies and systems that have helped numerous aspiring agents tackle the exam more effectively, leading to their success in becoming NBA agents.
In 2019, I decided to begin studying for the 2020 NBPA Sports Agent Exam. While preparing for the exam, I became overwhelmed by the depth and length of the CBA, the lack of study materials and questions provided by the NBPA, and the absence of resources online. I decided to document my study process in an attempt to provide guidance to other aspiring agents.
After passing the exam in March 2020, I began coaching and providing resources to other aspiring agents. I offered one-on-one coaching, 6-10 week courses, webinars, and mock exams. Over the years, I have helped many aspiring agents live out their dreams of becoming an agent. All it takes is determination, time, and the right guidance.
